With the opportunity to provide the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program in multifamily housing, several innovative organizations, including HPN members Preservation of Affordable Housing, The Caleb Group, Eden Housing, The Community Builders, and Mercy Housing, have become early adopters. As part of our work generously funded by Capital One, a new report, authored by Reid Cramer, explores new opportunities, emerging best practices, and policy reform with the U.S. Department of Urban Development’s FSS Program to expand families' asset building opportunities in multifamily housing. Special thanks to Compass Working Capital and Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future for their partnership in this work.
