Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership (SWMHP) is an award-winning non-profit developer with 30 years of experience in developing and preserving affordable housing. Our mission is "We partner with communities to develop places for people to call home." The SWMHP partners with local units of government and community-based organizations to ensure that all households have access to safe, healthy, energy efficient, and affordable housing. Over its lifetime, SWMHP has been a change-agent: developing, financing, or rehabilitating over 10,000 homes and apartments, bringing over $799,500,000 of investment into the region, facilitating full-spectrum homebuyer services for over 7,600 households, and repairing 360 downtown businesses and community buildings.
