About New Community Corporation

Founded in 1968, after the Newark civil disorders, New Community Corporation is the most comprehensive and the largest community development organization in the United States. NCC has developed and financed over 4,000 housing units for 7,000 residents in Newark, Jersey City and Orange. In addition, NCC provides day care, alternative education, social services, job training, employment services and health care to residents of the Newark area.
