About Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation

Founded in 1990 as a partnership between financial institutions and community organizations, MHIC has worked to fill a critical gap in meeting the credit needs of affordable housing and community development. MHIC offers a broad array of financial products. To date, MHIC has provided a total of $2.6 billion to finance 571 projects that preserved or created 22,091 housing units and 5.2 million square feet of commercial space.
