About Gulf Coast Housing Partnership

Created in 2006, Gulf Coast Housing Partnership (GCHP) is a 501(c)(3) real estate development company missioned 'to revitalize the Gulf Coast through transformative development'. Our business strategy is holistic - create affordable housing supported by essential services and quality of life amenities that result in diverse, economically viable and sustainable communities. We accomplish this through partnership real estate development, primarily with local government and nonprofit entities missioned to provide assistance to those in need and the tools for lasting individual, family and community success.Our innovative "Production in Partnership" model affords GCHP the ability to customize our role appropriate to the capacity of our partners, whether that is acting as owner/developer, project manager, fee-for-services provider or third party lender. GCHP provides our partnership developments with a full range of development services including feasibility analysis, proforma development, construction and design oversight, project-based lending and post-completion asset management support. In 2021, GCHP has a portfolio (completed or under construction) represented by 3,200 units of housing, over 405,000 square feet of complementary commercial/community real estate ventures, and 70 partnership developments for an infusion of over $637 million into the Gulf Coast region.
