About CommonBond Communities
For 50 years, CommonBond has been working to provide a home for those most in need in our community, and over time has grown to be a premier provider of affordable rental homes with life-enhancing services in the Upper Midwest. CommonBond's mission is to build stable homes, strong futures and vibrant communities with the vision that every person has a dignified, affordable home that supports independence and advancement within a flourishing community. We believe that home is the foundation for everything in life.
Our core values of respect, integrity, partnership, innovation, and excellence are evident in our work. Over 12,000 people - families, seniors, and people with disabilities and other barriers - call CommonBond home. On average, resident household income is $17,000 a year. The CommonBond model - housing with support services - transforms lives and creates stability in communities. Resident services, called Advantage Services, include academic mentoring and social programs for youth, wellness care and preventative services for seniors, and career/employment services for adults.
