About Bellwether Housing

Bellwether Housing creates housing affordability so that people and communities can thrive. Bellwether was founded in 1980 with a mission to provide affordable apartments for people with limited incomes in downtown Seattle. The organization now provides safe, stable homes for 3,500 residents - including 500 seniors and 650 children - in 2,400 apartments throughout Seattle, and provides real estate development services for nonprofits and housing authorities throughout the state of Washington.
