Housing Counseling Programs
Lyndsay Burns joined the Housing Partnership Network in September 2011. As Director of Housing Counseling Programs she oversees HPN's housing counseling contracts, facilitates member peer exchange and collaboration, and supports innovation in HPN's Housing Counseling business line. In her previous role as Senior Associate, Lyndsay was responsible for managing HPN's HUD Housing Counseling Program and National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling contracts, providing federal funds and technical assistance to member organizations for their counseling and education efforts.
Prior to joining HPN, Mrs. Burns worked for the Stored Value Card Program at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. As a business support associate, she worked with key stakeholders in the U.S. Treasury and Department of Defense to conduct a major overhaul of the program's standing operating procedures manual. She also helped develop content for the program newsletter, bulletins and marketing materials in addition to her regular reporting duties.
Lyndsay holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Sociology from Connecticut College and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Brandeis University (2011), where she concentrated in the areas of health, illness, and inequality.
