Joe Ferguson joined the Housing Partnership Network in August 2012 to support the implementation of the Mortgage Resolution Fund, a collaborative enterprise designed to help enhance neighborhood stabilization efforts by addressing defaulted loans prior to foreclosure. He is responsible for the continued development and implementation of a national system to manage the Resolution Specialists who will work with homeowners under the Mortgage Resolution Fund.
Before joining the Network, Mr. Ferguson worked for Community Opportunities Group, Inc., a community development and planning consulting firm providing services to municipal clients in Massachusetts and Connecticut. In this role he developed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications and implemented housing rehabilitation programs. Prior to his work at Community Opportunities Group, Inc. he held positions at the University at Albany's Office of Campus Planning and the United States Peace Corps.
Mr. Ferguson earned a bachelor's degree in education from Missouri Southern State University and a Master's in Regional Planning from the University at Albany, SUNY.
