Senior Associate, Framework Operations
Carolyn Schulte joined the Housing Partnership Network in October 2015. As Associate for Framework, the Network’s homeownership social enterprise, she works to strengthen and build the company’s operational capacity as it enters a tremendous growth phase. Carolyn coordinates Framework marketing, communications, and data initiatives including the development and implementation of a new post-purchase communication plan and partner support metrics.
Carolyn has a professional background in community and economic development, credit building, and affordable housing. Prior to joining HPN, Carolyn served as the Programs and Strategic Initiatives Coordinator at Credit Builders Alliance (CBA). At CBA, Carolyn managed the day to day implementation of their national Power of Rent Reporting Pilot which aimed to assess the feasibility and impact of property managers reporting of tenants’ monthly rental payments to the major credit bureaus as a credit building strategy for affordable housing renters. Later, she supported the development and implementation their Rent Reporting for Credit Building initiative. Carolyn also trained nonprofit practitioners in credit building strategies for low and moderate income individuals. She began her career in affordable housing as an AmeriCorps volunteer working at an on-site after-school program at an AHC property in Arlington, VA.
Carolyn holds a BA in Political Science from Providence College and a Masters degree in Political Science from The Stevenson Center for Community and Economic Development at Illinois State University.
